Vision

30 million children depend on federally funded meals at school and for many, that's all they have. We supply the 'third meal' either through gift cards to accessible partner restaurants or in school pantries as well as having food delivered to schools for in class healthy snacks.

Goals

1. 1.Our donor base continues to grow and we've amended our goal to supply more meals to our current population of children we're helping. Over 1000 children, and sometimes family members, are receiving food every week that is provided by The Third Meal. Before adding new schools (we currently serve 8 in 5 states) we want to make food available daily for these 1000 children.
2. 2.We've developed an I.T. platform that works like an app and links donors, student advocates, restaurant partners and children. We continue to scale up and hope to serve nationwide but first our main goal is to supply more meals daily to existing children being served.
3. 3.Now 100% of donations are used to feed children. We are a totally altruistic enterprise and totally volunteer based, including the limited expenses - maintaining a website, filing our 990, independent CPA - are paid outside The Third Meal by "angel donors" who contribute to our vision that only through altruism can a sustaining program to end hunger happen.
