Mission
Our mission is to get ahead of domestic violence, drug addiction, and homelessness by starting with our youth.
Our vision for our youth is to not only supply their immediate needs but to empower them by helping them develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed after graduation.
Caring Heart Outreach Goals
- Help meet the immediate needs of those who are homeless
- Help meet the immediate need of those recovering from domestic abuse
- Help meet the immediate needs of teens with food & hygiene items
- Provide a safe place for teens to serve them with love
We know that helping our youth understand it will always be OK to walk away from a relationship will reduce the chances for them to spiral into bad life choices. We hope that by teaching them to be independent of no one but themselves, they will not stay in relationships that are abusive. Those relationships tend to lead to addiction through self-medication and even homelessness. The LEAD Project Leadership Program will help these teens develop a healthy work ethic by inspiring skills that businesses value and bringing community leaders and business/industry leaders on board to invest time into the teens. This will convey to the teens that they have value and can work hard to move past obstacles they may face in life.
