Founded in 1925, Valley of the Sun United Way's mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. Our vision is to build a caring community where all children and youth succeed, families are self-sufficient, and all people enjoy maximum health and independence.

1.Strengthening and supporting the emergency food system to reduce hunger among families and senior citizens.
2.Investing in individual and family shelters that move households out of crisis.
3.Increasing resources to help individuals obtain job opportunities that will raise their income and create sustainable careers.
