We serve low-income students grades K-8 at Title I schools. We get feedback from the students, their parents/guardians, and the educators at the schools we serve.

Getting feedback from those that we serve has helped to keep the program relevant and evolving. We want to be sure that we are meeting the needs and being great stewards of the donations we receive. We also want the schools/educators to not feel burdened by our program. Getting feedback from all of our constituents helps us to help others.

We don't have any major challenges to collecting feedback
Briefly describe a recent change that your organization made in response to feedback from the people you serve.
We did focus groups with 5-8th grade students, because we were finding that they were not wanting to participate in the program as much. We found out that the girls did not like the unisex clothing options, and both girls and boys wanted different styles in pants to fit in with their peers. We had also been giving out one color/style of shoe. The kids told us that these shoes had become an identifier for kids to know which kids needed assistance. Based on this feedback, we made an investment in purchasing both male & female tops, as well as skinny pants and jogger pants. We have also invested in offering 7-10 different styles & colors of shoes each year. Each year we change them. We have also added a special Fiesta Bowl shoe (with the Fiesta Bowl logo).
