The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Strengthen alignment around core mission areas by focusing on shelter, housing, DV/SV services, and stability programs. Streamline or consolidate non-core activities, integrate programs for greater impact, and ensure resources support the most effective, mission-critical services.
Goal Two: Build organizational capacity to support long-term sustainability. Strengthen leadership infrastructure, enhance staff development, expand data/evaluation systems, implement EOS for stronger operations, and grow financial resilience through philanthropy, partnerships, and efficient program management.
Goal Three: Expand access to affordable and supportive housing by transitioning La Mesita and Homeward Bound emergency units into long-term housing, developing new transitional shelter units, and increasing rental assistance and stability services. Strengthen pathways from crisis to housing and scale services to meet rising community demand through strategic allocation of resources.
