At AZCEND, we change lives by nourishing minds and bodies to create a connected, thriving community. In Fiscal Year 2023, more than 15,000 people received a lifeline of essential programs and services. More than 13,000 food boxes were distributed with nearly one million pounds of food providing more than 800,000 meals so that no one in our community goes to bed hungry. And food is just the beginning. -Safe shelter and nourishing meals help people experiencing homelessness get back on their feet. -Assistance with rent and utilities keeps families in their homes. -Early childhood literacy prepares little ones to succeed in kindergarten and in life. -Parenting classes equip moms and dads to better support their children's development. -Meals, activities and friendship help seniors combat loneliness and isolation while maintaining their independence. More than a meal, we help neighbors in need experience a brighter future than they may have imagined.
