OUR BUSNESS MODEL OF "REPRESENTATION WITHOUT TAXATION" SERVES THE RESIDENTS, PROPERTY OWNERS, AND INVESTORS OF THE UNINCORPORATED BOUNDRY DEFINED AREA OF GREEN VALLEY, AZ. THE GVC ENABLES THE COMMUNITY TO FUNCTION AS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER, CITIZED MANAGED COMMUNITY. IN 2023 THE GVC HAD OVER 150 VOLUNTEERS SERVING IN VARIOUS CAPACITIES AND 4 PAID ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF MEMBER. tHE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE GVC IS TO REPRESENT THE COMMUNITY AT THE LOCAL, COUNTY, STATE, FEDERAL AND TRIBAL LEVELS OF GOVERNMENT. The Green Valley Council responded to a changing external environment in several fundamental ways. The Council re-developed the external communications strategic plan to communicate more effectively and efficiently with stakeholders, community organizations, governmental organizations, and local residents. Consideration was taken to accommodate new and dynamic needs for information and resources. The Council also responded to changes by developing new programs and services that were delineated through a local comprehensive needs assessment. The Council also launched a new program focused on a comprehensive internal processes assessment and evaluation with the goal of reducing waste and maximizing effectiveness and efficiency.
