The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: Expand access to FSST programs by increasing athlete participation, enhancing scholarship support, and strengthening community partnerships. Our goal is to reduce financial barriers and ensure every youth has the opportunity to benefit from high-quality coaching, mentorship, and the lifelong skills developed through skiing and snowboarding.
Goal Two: Strengthen FSST’s organizational capacity by investing in sustainable funding, staff development, and technical systems. Enhancing financial stability, management practices, and program evaluation tools will ensure we can deliver consistent, high-quality programming and better serve athletes, families, and the broader Flagstaff community.
Goal Three: Advance advocacy for youth access to alpine sports by promoting safety, equity, and inclusion in skiing and snowboarding. FSST will champion affordable opportunities, collaborate with partners to expand community support, and raise awareness of the lifelong benefits of mountain sports for developing confident, resilient youth.
