Old Town Mission

Mission

The Old Town Mission is a Christian Faith-in-Action Outreach that extends a helping hand to neighbors in need. Our goal is to empower, sustain, inspire, and share God's love while serving our neighbors in the Verde Valley. We work to provide food, clothing, community events, programs, and needed services while building relationships to create a stronger community. We strive to help those who are most vulnerable. This includes people living at or below the poverty level, on a fixed income, experiencing a difficult season, or at risk of becoming homeless. It also includes our elderly neighbors, single-parent households, struggling families with children, Veterans of all ages, people living with disabilities or chronic health conditions, and people experiencing homelessness.

Goals

1.Continuing expanding and adjusting our services as the need in our community changes.
2.Create new programs such as a Kid's Shop filled with clothes, school supplies, toys and more for kids ages birth to pre-teen.
3.With all the changes, we will be able to fine-tune our current services, increase awareness of the new programs that are available to our community. We will begin offering free classes Monday nights.
