Jacaranda Rising

Mission

Jacaranda Rising walks alongside transition-age young adults (18–24) in Los Angeles County as they navigate the challenges of adulthood. Through life skills education, meaningful relationships, and compassionate individualized support, we equip young people to build confidence, overcome obstacles, and create stable, independent futures. We believe every young adult deserves a caring community, the opportunity to thrive, and someone who believes in their potential.

Vision

Jacaranda Rising envisions a Los Angeles County where transition-age (18-24) young adults who have experienced foster care, housing instability, food insecurity, and other challenges are equipped to thrive as confident and self-sufficient adults.

Goals

1.Deepen programmatic opportunities with current young adults and expand outreach to more at-risk young adults.
2.Deepen and expand our partnerships within the community. We are currently partnered with 2 nonprofit organizations to provide services.
3.Expand our volunteer base.
