At Youth Action Movement (YAM), we believe that every teen has a spark—a sense of purpose, curiosity, and potential just waiting to be lit. Since 2012, our mission has been to help ignite that spark by guiding Jewish teens to live meaningful, inspired lives grounded in tradition, community, and personal growth. We’re here to create experiences that aren’t just fun—but formative. From Shabbat dinners to humanitarian projects, social events to thought-provoking discussions, everything we do is about helping teens connect: to their Jewish identity, to their peers, and most importantly, to themselves.

At YAM, our mission is to inspire pride and a deep connection to Jewish roots, heritage, and identity; empower teens to grow into confident, compassionate leaders; and build a vibrant community where every teen feels seen, valued, and supported. We bring Jewish life to life by making it engaging, real, and relevant in today’s world, and we encourage action because belief finds its true meaning only when it creates impact.

Goal One: Fundraising Goal: Raise $250,000 by January 1, 2026 to expand YAM’s programs, mentorship opportunities, and outreach efforts. This funding will directly support our mission to inspire, empower, and connect Jewish teens, enabling more impactful events, resources, and long-term growth in teen engagement.

Goal Two: Engagement Goal: Increase teen participation by 50% through innovative, relevant, and inspiring programs, interactive workshops, and impactful social action initiatives. This growth will foster stronger community connections, empower youth to embrace their identity, and create lasting bonds among participants.

Goal Three: Mentorship Goal: Expand one-on-one mentorship to serve more teens this year, ensuring personalized guidance, skill development, and emotional support. By doubling mentorship capacity, YAM will strengthen individual growth, foster leadership, and equip teens with tools to thrive in life and community
