Slavic Art Alliance

Mission

Slavic Art Alliance documents, preserves, and promotes endangered mosaic art across the former Soviet Union. Through conservation advocacy, a public digital archive, scholarly research, educational programs, tours, workshops, and exhibitions, we protect this cultural heritage and make it accessible to communities and future generations worldwide.

Vision

A future in which the mosaic heritage of the former Soviet Union is documented, protected, understood, and accessible to communities and future generations worldwide.

Goals

1.Expand public access to Soviet mosaic heritage by growing the digital archive and extending educational tours, workshops, exhibitions, and scholarly resources for global audiences.
2.Strengthen partnerships with local communities, municipalities, scholars, artists, and preservation organizations to advocate for endangered mosaics and support documentation, conservation, and legal protection.
3.Build the research, documentation, technical, and fundraising capacity needed to maintain a reliable digital archive, coordinate conservation initiatives, and sustain public education programs.
