JERRY RUBIN FOUNDATION FOR CANCER CARE

Mission

We offer financial assistance to patients and their family members throughout their cancer journey. We also offer a hospice home, at no cost to patients or their families, for those at end-of-life who have no place to go. Helping time of need, providing a safety net when it's needed most.

Everyone deserves to live with hope and die with dignity. We provide assistance during some of life's most difficult moments, preventing hardships from turning into a crisis.

Goals

1.Expand Jerry's Place (our social model hospice home) to other cities within Monterey County. Expand Jerry's Place (our social model hospice home) to other cities within Monterey County. Expand Jerry's Place (our social model hospice home) to other cities within Monterey County, allowing us to serve 25–30 residents annually, with at least 50% from underserved populations.
2.Continue to provide a safe, compassionate place for individuals during their final chapter of life, allowing them to die in peace and with dignity. Giving them the place to say their final goodbyes and for the family to begin a healthy grieving process in a peaceful location. Increase volunteer hours to 150+ annually and expand services available to residents.
3.Continue to focus on our sustainability and ensuring that we are here for those in need. Grow our planned giving and large donor giving so as to establish a strong base for the future.
