Safe Parking LA

Mission

Safe Parking LA provides safe overnight parking to facilitate stability and housing in Los Angeles County for individuals living in their vehicles, and advocates for fair and equitable treatment and resources for the unhoused.

Vision

Individuals and families living in their vehicles will have an expedited path to housing through a system that opens doors.

Goals

1.The development of creative, responsive, and effective program models that address the evolving needs of vehicular unhoused individuals. This includes expanding services, integrating layered programming (meals, showers, case management), and ensuring accessibility for vulnerable populations.
2.Investing in staff development, well-being, and leadership to create a strong organizational culture that supports retention, professional growth, and operational excellence.
3.Establishing a stable financial foundation through diverse funding streams, strong financial stewardship, and strategic infrastructure investments to sustain and expand SPLA’s mission.
