Mission
Guadalupe Center Mission Since 1966, Guadalupe Center has been serving as a trusted pillar in the Greater Salt Lake Valley, offering free, high-quality education and vital community resources to low-income, immigrant, and refugee families. What began as an Adult Education program decades ago has grown into a robust community center, serving individuals from birth through adulthood. Today, our six core programs include: * In-Home Family Support (birth-2) * Toddler Transitions (1-2) * Preschool (3-4) * Elementary School (K-6) * Out-of-School Time (Summer and Afterschool) * Adult Education (ages 16+) Guadalupe Center (GC) continues to demonstrate its value as a community anchor for many of the Salt Lake Valley’s most vulnerable community members. It provides not only a safe haven for education and access to many community resources, but a way up for those who are marginalized because of their socio-economic status. Guadalupe Center provides valuable services for a population in great need at no cost to them. Guadalupe Center is “Transforms Lives Through Education.”

Guadalupe Center envisions a community where education transforms lives, breaks cycles of poverty, and empowers families for generations to come.
Goals
- 1.Guadalupe Center is committed to strengthening its organizational capacity so it can continue delivering high-impact programs for the community. This means intentionally investing in its infrastructure to ensure long-term stability. By building strong internal systems GC positions itself to expand services, improve program quality, and respond proactively to emerging community needs.
- 2.Guadalupe Center aims to grow and expand its existing programs so more children and families can benefit from the high-quality services it provides. By building on proven models and expanding program reach, Guadalupe Center seeks to deepen its impact, serve more disenfranchised families, and create greater pathways to long-term success for the community.
- 3.Guadalupe Center is committed to developing new programs that directly respond to emerging trends and changing needs within the community it serves. By continuously monitoring local conditions and listening to families, the organization identifies gaps in services, shifts in demographics, and evolving challenges that require fresh approaches.
