Mission

TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE U.S. FOREST SERVICE UTAH AVALANCHE CENTER (UAC) IN PROMOTING AVALANCHE SAFETLY AND PROVIDING AND PROMOTING EDUCATION TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH VARIOUS CHANNELS.

Vision

Prevent avalanche accidents and fatalities through the use of avalanche forecasting, awareness, and education throughout Utah.

Goals

1.Provide resources and messaging that create a clear and complete avalanche education path
2.The UAC communicates with a clear, consistent, and credible voice and re-evaluates, analyzes, and measures the effectiveness of our messaging
3.Continue building financial security in order to meet the current and future needs of our community.
