The Utah Avalanche Center (UAC) exists to keep people on top of The Greatest Snow On Earth® by providing avalanche forecasting, education, and awareness throughout the state of Utah.

Vision

Prevent all avalanche accidents and fatalities through the use of avalanche forecasting, awareness, and education throughout Utah.

Goals

1.Provide resources and messaging that create a clear and complete avalanche education path for everyone in Utah.
2.Communicate with a clear, consistent, and credible voice and re-evaluates, analyzes, and measures the effectiveness of our messaging.
3.Continue building financial security in order to meet the current and future needs of our community.
