Monthly we are investing in our team through focused times of training, coaching, subject matter expertise and strategy. We want our team to be experts in their area, providing thought leadership and actively growing in their expertise. We also utilize a professional coaching model to build into each of our team. We also encourage each of our team members to actively volunteer in their local community and churches.

We are actively building a network of local care networks both in the DFW area and around the globe to work together to affect change. We are presenting on relevant topics and networking with local business and community leaders as well as consulting on best practices and raising awareness about the issues we are addressing.

The pandemic created a huge need for food. We went from feeing 1.5 million meals in 2019, to mobilizing 6.5 million meals in 2020 and in 2021 we are on track to serve up 12 million meals. We had a strong network in place as well and key relationships and when the need for food hit, we had the tools ready to expand and respond to the great need. This pivot required us to adapt our team and adjust our approach, but it meant that we got to greatly expand our feeding efforts and help a lot of families in need during a difficult time.
