Vision

Firearms are the leading cause of death for children and teens in America. Still, most young people say that they’re open to getting a gun and believe the myth that having one will make them safer. To end our gun violence crisis, we must tell a different story about guns – one that’s rooted in the facts. Project Unloaded is changing gun culture and empowering young people to make a data-backed decision to keep themselves and their loved ones safe from gun violence.

Goals

1. 1.Our goal is to expand our digital campaigns to reach more teens in more cities online, and to sustain the delivery of our campaigns over time.
2. 2.Our community partner program engages teens offline. We will expand this program to connect with teens in more places, focusing on the neighborhoods that are hardest hit by gun violence.
3. 3.The members of Project Unloaded's national youth council serve as advisors, spokespeople, and content creators. We plan to grow the council and expand their footprint as organizers for culture change.
