    Mission

    The Las Vegas Area Council delivers the programs of the Boy Scouts of America to the youth of southern Nevada and western Arizona. We work in partnership with local chartering organizations, community partners, parents and more than 10,000 volunteers to help serve the nearly 20,000 youth registered to Scouting programs. Scouting teaches young men and women values that will help them throughout their lifetimes. By instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law we are able to prepare leaders for the future, instill duty to God and build long-lasting friendships.
