Mission

The mission of the LVMPD Foundation is to raise critical funds to support three strategic priorities of LVMPD: Equipment and Technology; Training and Preparedness; and Community Engagement and Youth Mentoring Programs.

Vision

Our vision is for the greater Las Vegas area to be the safest large community, served by the best-trained and equipped law enforcement agency, with thriving relationships between LVMPD officers and the neighborhoods they serve.

Goals

1.Revenue Diversification and Growth compassing: Grow unrestricted funding to reduce reliance on restricted/project-specific donations. Increase philanthropic partnerships and long-term giving strategies. Launch a Major Donor Stewardship Program. Create a pipeline of multi-year corporate partnerships. Create planned giving strategy and recognition for legacy giving.
2.Program innovation and impact encompassing: Develop and expand proprietary programs that enhance safety of community and improve community relations. Ensure measurable impact metrics for all funded initiatives. Align programs with LVMPD’s operational priorities and community safety goals.
3.Operational efficiencies and infrastructure encompassing these priorities: Complete internal systems overhaul to improve efficiency. Expand staff capacity with strategic hires (3-4 additional FTEs). Secure and design new office space that reflects the Foundation’s brand and growth trajectory.
