Vision

Our 5 year plan consists of making Retreat for Heroes a national self-sustaining non-profit private foundation that serves thousands of Heroes in the Central Florida region and across the US. Our Retreat program is designed to reduce the effects, of Post Traumatic Stress on the family unit, assist in preserving the mental health of our Heroes, and prevent suicide in the Hero Community. Outdoor recreation and activities: studies by the Department of Veterans Affairs have proven that outdoor recreation, yoga, meditation, and sports programs have had a great deal of success in reducing the effects of Post Traumatic Stress. Doing these activities as a family will bring the family together and allow the family unit to work together as a team.

Goals

1. 1.Our Retreat program will provide a safe environment that will include wellness, peer counseling, outdoor sports, yoga, meditation, the arts, and physical fitness for our Heroes and their families.
2. 2.Outreach We reach out to the community through outreach such as festivals, one day events, meet and greets, personal appearances, fundraisers, and other miscellaneous events and services.
3. 3.Fundraising Fundraising through all venues from individual fundraising, events, to grants.
