Georgia is a small country (population 3.7 million) with a disproportionately large stray population

Goals

1. 1.Reduce abandonment that increased due to 2020 pandemic & 2022 war inflation causing food shortages & unaffordability of pets: Provide dog food grants to low-income owners, dog training & counseling.
2. 2.Reduce stray population that increased due to cessation of state-funded sterilization by providing free sterilizations. Also, increase vaccination programs to curb the spread of zoonotic diseases.
3. 3.Obtain a larger property to accommodate a greater number of rescues, and to serve as a sanctuary for difficult-to-adopt senior and disabled dogs.
