HARDWICK FOUNDATION INC
Mission
The mission of the Hardwick Foundation, Inc. is to treat and educate people toward a future of prevention, allowing each to live a pain-free dental life with dignity.
Vision
Be part of a movement to bring high-quality dental care to communities in Kenya where access is limited and show your commitment to global health. The Hardwick Foundation is on a mission to build the first permanent dental clinic in Masai Mara, Aitong, a region where 10,000 people gather every week with no reliable access to dental care. This clinic won’t just be a building—it’s a lifeline for thousands who currently suffer from untreated dental conditions.Your donation doesn't just fund a facility; it provides critical services, from pain relief procedures to preventive education. With your support, we can raise $400,000 to start construction on this state-of-the-art facility by mid-2025. This clinic will provide continuous, high-quality dental care year-round for thousands in need, far beyond our annual trips. It will also serve as a training center, empowering local healthcare workers to sustain these services for generations to come.
Goals
- 1.The Empaso Dental Clinic stands for "abundance, representing a place of plenty and well-being." Building this sustainable clinic in the village of Aitong, Kenya will provide a beacon of relief for over 10,000 people who may suffer from untreated dental pain and diseases. To live a life of dignity, pain-free from dental emergencies is paramount and has not been addressed by government programs.
- 2.The growth of the Hardwick Foundation by building a full-time facility, the Empaso Dental Clinic, will allow for extended programs to be pursued. This will be a site for continued education, promoting careers in the health industry and will revolutionize access to the whole community. Ultimately, the presence of the clinic will contribute to the overall well-being and quality of life.
- 3.The founders, Jim and Jody Hardwick, of the Hardwick Foundation started in 2019 by securing dental teams providing emergency dental care to the Masai Mara region of Kenya. These were annual "pop-up" portable dental clinic trips treating hundreds of patients who experienced dental pain. When land was donated they knew a clinic had to be built!
