Vision

At Point of Life Resource Center, our vision is to create a compassionate, connected support system for families facing crisis or hardship. We currently serve Jefferson, Shelby, and Chilton counties and aim to expand across all 67 Alabama counties. Through growth and strategic partnerships, we provide direct aid and connect families to trusted resources for essentials, mental health, and more. Our goal is to become a statewide hub of coordinated care, linking individuals not only to emergency support, but also to a reliable network of nonprofits and government agencies such as WIC and SNAP. By building these relationships, we ensure that anyone who turns to us receives both immediate help and a clear path forward.

Goals

1. 1.We currently serve three counties in Alabama. We hope to expand our reach to the other 64 within the next five years.
2. 2.Child poverty is rising across Alabama, with rates in Jefferson (21.5%), Chilton (19.4%), and Shelby (9.4%) counties among the highest. As inflation drives fluctuating needs, Point of Life Resource Center is committed to staying flexible and responsive, meeting challenges head-on to provide timely, effective support for struggling families.
3. 3.We aim to grow our fundraising capacity through events such as galas, charity auctions, and community initiatives. Continued investment in technology and strategic marketing will help bring this vision to life and ensure long-term sustainability for our mission.
