Mission

Fostering Wishes is committed to enhancing the lives of local foster children by supporting them through the foster system and empowering their transition to independence. Our programs focus on preserving dignity, fostering a sense of belonging, and promoting education and confidence, paving the way for their bright futures.

Vision

Fostering Wishes envisions a future where every foster child receives comprehensive support and a nurturing environment that fosters resilience, promotes well-being, and enables each child to reach their full potential.

Goals

1.Provide trade school scholarships to help foster youth transition into adulthood, reducing homelessness and incarceration by assessing strengths, exploring trades, and offering financial support.
2.Remove financial barriers for foster youth, allowing them to engage in activities and special events, promoting inclusion, boosting self-esteem, and ensuring a full high school experience.
3.Empower older foster youth to mentor younger peers, fostering community, leadership, self-worth and strengthening the foster care community. Thereby, helping the mentor and the mentees.
