Mission

Stand Up To Cancer’s mission is to raise awareness and fund research to detect and treat cancers with the aspiration to cure all patients. SU2C brings together the best and the brightest researchers and mandates collaboration among the cancer community. By galvanizing the entertainment industry, SU2C has set out to generate awareness, educate the public on cancer prevention, and help more people diagnosed with cancer become long-term survivors. SU2C was established in 2008 as a division of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN 95-1644609). In 2022, SU2C separately incorporated and obtained recognition from the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization (EIN 88-4115555). SU2C remains a supporting organization to EIF.
