The nonprofit organization presents evidence of strategic thinking and goal setting through sharing their most important strategic goals.
Goal One: The agency is dedicated to furthering advocacy and counseling services for survivors of sexual assault and those impacted by it. Our goal is to strengthen existing programs such as: medical, criminal, civil, and general advocacy efforts, while continuing to provide trauma-informed counseling to survivors, significant others, family members, friends, and loved ones across the Metro East region.
Goal Two: We aim to implement and enhance existing and new outreach efforts, prevention education programs, and professional training initiatives to foster lasting community partnerships, address the root causes of sexual violence, and challenge the societal norms that sustain rape culture—building a more informed, proactive, and compassionate Metro East community to help prevent sexual violence.
Goal Three: The agency aims to strengthen financial capacity through fundraising and grants to expand staff and service areas. By adding two crisis workers, another counselor, and an advocate, we can serve more survivors, extend support to an additional county, and enhance the quality and reach of our advocacy and counseling services.
