Vision

To build a Village of hope where refugee families from around the world are welcomed by Middle Tennesseans through shared education, mutual learning, and relationships.

Goals

1. 1.Over the next 12–18 months, LMV aims to increase instructional capacity by developing and supporting dedicated volunteers and securing funding needed to sustain classes, while intentionally limiting growth to protect relational quality, dignity, and educational effectiveness.
2. 2.LMV seeks to adapt educational offerings based on close relationships with students and direct feedback, adding, adjusting, or discontinuing classes and levels as needs change. Programs are intentionally flexible to reflect shifting demand, readiness, and long-term educational goals.
3. 3.LMV prioritizes depth over scale by focusing on long-term educational outcomes, including school readiness, high school graduation, citizenship, and increased opportunity through improved English and life skills, rather than expanding enrollment at the expense of quality or relationship.
