The Junior League of Seattle is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.

Goals

1.MODERNIZE AND STANDARDIZE INFRASTRUCTURE: JLS will invest the time and effort to modernize our membership programming (curriculum) and standardize our processes, procedures, data collection, and fundraising assets. The intended outcome is better feedback and communication capabilities, increased efficiencies, and improved knowledge retention.
2.BUILD ORGANIZATIONAL STABILITY & SUSTAINABILITY: JLS will focus on brand awareness to increase visibility within the community and foster sustainability. In addition, the League will build varied revenue streams to ensure we can operate in a fiscally balanced manner.
3.DEVELOP VOLUNTEERS AND FUTURE CIVIC LEADERS: JLS will evolve our training model with a lens on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, to develop volunteers with confidence and the skill set to become future civic leaders. This includes collaborating with community partners and other Junior Leagues.
