Mission

The Student Conservation Association's mission is to build the next generation of conservation leaders and inspire lifelong stewardship of the environment and communities by engaging young people through hands-on service projects.

Vision

The SCA is transforming lives by empowering young people of all backgrounds to plan, act, and lead while they protect and restore natural and cultural resources. Through our work, the SCA is building the next generation of conservation leaders while inspiring lifelong protection of the environment and our communities.

Goals

1.With fiscally sustainable & inclusive programs, deliver exceptional conservation & leadership development via climate action, advancing social & emotional development, & prioritizing safety.
2.Build & sustain a staff & programmatic membership as or more diverse as the nation we serve by expanding presence & retention of ethnic, racial, LBGTQ+, disability, & socio-economic diversity.
3.Increase & diversify revenue through expanded public & private partnerships while fully maximizing revenue sold, improving the fiscal sustainability of SCA programs, & controlling costs.
