Wolf Haven International

Mission

The mission of Wolf Haven International, established in 1982, is to “Conserve and protect wolves and their habitat.” We rescue and provide sanctuary for displaced, captive-born wolves, offer educational programs about wolves and the value of all wildlife, promote wolf restoration in historic ranges and work to protect our remaining wild wolves and their habitat.

Vision

Wolf Haven is a clear and persistent voice for wolf conservation and coexistence in the wild, and advocates for sustainable solutions that not only protect wolves but also minimize wolf-human conflicts.

Goals

1.Provide high quality care for resident animals. Provide a setting that allows each animal to lead a life of dignity. Reduce and help put an end to the displacement and exploitation of wolves.
2.Develop and implement conservation programs to protect, recover and sustain wolves and their habitat in North America.
3.Provide education for people to understand the complex role wolves play in ecosystem health and longevity. Foster empathy for wolves, while being sensitive to concerns of people affected by wolves.
