Mission

Cascade PBS expands community participation through great public media content on air and online, and through community events. We help Northwest people learn, grow and make a difference. We are an award-winning PBS television station serving western and central Washington and British Columbia. We educate and enrich our communities by providing informative, entertaining programs and meaningful outreach, creating public dialogue on local and national issues. We also broadcast the PBS KIDS 24/7, WORLD and Create channels. Our nonprofit digital newsroom serves the public with local stories that are in-depth and unique. Our readers count on local stories they can’t find anywhere else. Our local series help people understand our corner of the world and how they can be a part of shaping it for the better.
