Mission

NW Children’s Foundation works to end the intergenerational cycle of child abuse, neglect, and trauma. Our model addresses this complex problem with a complementary approach: Investing in children and families now through our GRANTMAKING, and catalyzing change for a better future through our EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH.

1.Support our agency partners through: excellence in grantmaking and board education; staying on the cutting edge of developments in child welfare; and following principles of trust-based philanthropy.
2.Expand our role in education, convening & community-building through expanded content & programs to enable opportunities for cross-sector conversations and collaboration.
3.Advocate and influence systems change through: integrating principles of equity, diversity and inclusion in our work and actively working for systemic improvements in child welfare.
