    Founded in 1988 by social workers, Treehouse is Washington's leading nonprofit organization addressing the academic and other essential support needs of youth in Washington state foster care. We envision and strive to build a world where every child who has experienced foster care has the opportunities and support they need to pursue their dreams and create their own future. Our programs meet the needs of youth who live with disruptions and uncertainty. We provide educational advocacy, funding for essentials and experiences, continued support into young adulthood and more.
