Mission

LIFE ENRICHMENT OPTIONS (LEO) IS A COMMUNITY BASED NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT WORKS TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES TO ACHIEVE THEIR LIFE VISION AND GOALS THROUGH SUPPORTIVE HOUSING, RECREATION, COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY.

Goals

1.Work with elected officials to remove barriers such as prohibitive licensing requirements and taxes that prevent qualified long term care professionals from opening Medicaid-dedicated DD homes.
2.Introduce new members to our board of directors who will make our leadership more reflective of the community we serve.
3.Broaden the spectrum of housing solutions LEO offers to address the needs of developmentally disabled adults with very high or very low physical support needs.
