Vision

Section 1. To preserve and promote the historical significance and cultural traditions of Quilcene and South Jefferson County for the benefit of present and future generations. Section 2. To enhance our community by providing a place of peace and beauty that educates, entertains, and enriches. The Quilcene Historical Museum in its management of Worthington Park is committed to the environmental best practices, and social, recreational, and economic livelihood of South Jefferson County. Section 3. To operationally integrate the Quilcene Historical Museum, the Hamilton-Worthington House, the Linger Longer Outdoor Theater, the C.K. Birkenfeld Nature Trail, and Acres of Meadows into a multi-use event center, collectively called Worthington Park, a property of the Quilcene Historical Museum. These combined elements draw residents and visitors alike to gather and enjoy local culture, entertainment, and educational activities.

Goals

1. 1.To increase the number of visitors to the museum and worthington park to enrich the community and the people who visit from outside the community.
2. 2.Stay fiscally solvent as a non-profit entity.
3. 3.To enhance Worthington Park, Museum, and on-line resources.
