Vision

COTA envisions a robust and diverse mountain biking experience that will endure for generations.

Goals

1. 1.Trail Building & Maintenance Design trails to diversify riding opportunities in Central Oregon (e.g., harder trails, backcountry trails, bike parks, beginner areas, etc.). Build approved trails well, promptly, and sustainably. Work toward land manager approval of new trails to keep pace with Central Oregon’s visitor and population growth and the growing popularity of mountain biking.
2. 2.Volunteers and Members Engage our volunteers, elevate our volunteer culture, and expand its diversity and inclusiveness. Build and implement a training and mentoring program that ensures we have enough well-trained crew leaders in each chapter to do the necessary trail building and maintenance.
3. 3.Advocacy and Collaboration Boldly advocate for more riding opportunities and preserving existing trail access in a way that recognizes other stakeholders' interests. Provide active leadership in the coalitions and other collaborative efforts where we participate.
