    Island Conservation

    Mission

Island Conservation's mission is to restore islands for nature and people worldwide. Climate change, ocean degradation, introduced damaging invasive species, and biodiversity loss are causing entire ecosystems to collapse, and island communities are disproportionately impacted. Islands are unique places where we can turn the tide against these threats: holistic restoration on islands has massive outsized benefits for people, food security, coral health, carbon stocks, wildlife, and more.
