Goals

1. 1.Boost recruitment into student programs, especially alternative education services, vocational training for adjudicated youth, and job skills internships. Progress to goal will be monitored through year-over-year comparison of enrollment and completion data, as well as records of student engagement, accomplishments, and credentialing.
2. 2.Full implementation of all phases of our Blue Schools project. The Blue Schools Initiative endeavors to reconnect communities with the sea and make pathways to maritime careers accessible for young people, especially those most disconnected from opportunity in their community.
3. 3.Our responsibility as a community organization is to work towards access and inclusion for those most marginalized, because our mission is stronger when it celebrates all the voices and experiences of our region. Through vocational programming, our mission has grown to include connecting people, particularly those underrepresented in the maritime sector, to meaningful family-wage career pathways.
