Mission

Shared Hope International (SHI), founded in 1998, is dedicated to preventing sex trafficking, rescuing victims, and restoring the lives of exploited women and children around the world. Through our three-pronged strategy—prevent, restore, and bring justice—we provide comprehensive services including safe shelter, trauma-informed care, education, and vocational training. SHI works in partnership with local organizations globally to combat trafficking through public awareness, policy advocacy, and survivor support. For over a quarter century, we have been a leader in the fight against sex trafficking, offering real solutions and lasting hope to the world’s most vulnerable populations.

Vision

Our vision is to coordinate a national U.S. network of protection to improve the response to victims of trafficking. We believe we can create a world where every survivor is surrounded by trained professionals, an alert community, just law and policy, knowledgeable service providers, and appropriate shelter options.

Goals

1.Develop Shared Hope's Victim/Offender Intersectionality training program to better help those victims who are charged as criminals when trafficked.
2.By focusing on expanding our capacity with highly talented staff, we will be able to execute more professional training that will help us educate more individuals about trafficking.
3.Every state receives an annual Report Card that grades the strength of state laws in combating child sex trafficking and offers practical recommendations for improvement.
