Sumner Community Food Bank

Mission

The Sumner Community Food Bank is a non-profit organization that provides nutritious food with dignity to our neighbors in need through donations and the work of dedicated volunteers. Our mission is also to be good stewards of food surpluses, and increase public awareness on issues of hunger in our community.

Goals

1.To generate sufficient financial resources to sustain mission fulfillment by creating and implementing a high-quality fund development program that provides varied funding sources
2.To improve the physical plant in order to provide capacity for mission fulfillment, as our buildings should change and expand to provide for our program's needs.
3.To strengthen communications with our local and regional stakeholders, so we can increase our presence in the community and invite other organizations to partner with us to provide other resources.
