Vision

Toys for Kids envisions a Washington State where every child—regardless of circumstance—feels valued, supported, and remembered by their community. Through generosity, compassion, and collective action, we strive to create brighter futures by ensuring disadvantaged children and families have access to joy, opportunity, and the essential resources they need to thrive.

Goals

1. 1.Toys for Kids will focus resources on core programs that directly support disadvantaged children and families across Washington State. Key initiatives, including toy distribution, educational support, and Rick’s Locker, will be prioritized to maximize impact, while programs not closely aligned with the mission will be evaluated and scaled back to strengthen overall effectiveness.
2. 2.Toys for Kids will expand access to its existing programs and services to serve more disadvantaged children and families across Washington State. By growing capacity, strengthening community partnerships, and increasing outreach, the organization will scale core initiatives to ensure more children receive toys, educational support, and essential resources.
3. 3.Toys for Kids will invest in strengthening organizational capacity by improving financial sustainability, enhancing management practices, and upgrading technical and operational systems. The organization will add a Marketing and Events Coordinator to increase outreach, strengthen fundraising efforts, and support volunteers, ensuring continued growth and impact for children and families.
