Medic One Foundation

Mission

Our mission is to save lives by improving pre-hospital emergency care. The Foundation: guarantees rigorous paramedic training and continuing medical education that is experience-centered and under the guidance of University of Washington physicians; sponsors targeted research on methods to improve patient outcomes and prevent sudden cardiac death; equips fire departments by funding special equipment needs to help them in better serving their communities; provides EMT scholarships to help remove financial barriers for individuals pursuing a career in emergency medicine, and offers CPR/First Aid training to our community to give them the knowledge and skills necessary for responding to medical emergencies.
