You Are The Power Foundation, Inc.

Mission

You Are the Power’s mission is to protect individuals and families from local government abuse, using the power of social media to tell their story, demand local officials treat them with respect, and ensure permanent change so this abuse cannot happen again.

Vision

You Are The Power is a network of grassroots activists geared towards identifying single-issue items in their communities to impact change.

Goals

1.To Empower Citizens - When people feel helpless in their communities against an overreaching government, we show them how much power they have to enact the changes they wish to make. For far too long, politicians and bureaucrats have convinced many that they have no power. We’re here to remind them that they do.
2.When politicians, law enforcers, or other people in positions of power abuse their authority, we use our resources and experience to expose their deeds to the public and hold them accountable. Those who abuse their power should have an example made of them. We will do just that. We started with local issues, and have grown to recently enacting change in law on the state level.
