Vision

Laila's Legacy was founded to save dogs like Laila. We never want a dog to be euthanized because an owner, a volunteer, or an organization didn't have the resources or have a partner that could help them or because breed bias stopped them from getting the help they deserved. Dogs like Laila deserve a chance at life and that's what we're here to do!

Goals

1. 1.Continue developing our foster program, thus enabling Laila's Legacy to meet the needs of our community by saving more dogs & cats from euthanasia.
2. 2.Create and execute a Surrender Prevention program that focuses on keeping animals in their homes by supporting the owners through challenging times with financial resources, food, supplies, and temporary housing.
3. 3.Collaborate with other local advocacy groups to bring about policy changes in the community at every level that further focuses on removing breed bias, supporting pet guardians, and promotes safer pet ownership.
