Vision

HU2H aims to reduce veteran and first responder suicide by at least 88% through Hope and Healing Retreats that provide TBI and PTSD education, nature-based therapies, and activities such as equine therapy, hiking, wildlife photography, and fly fishing. By building meaningful connections among participants who share similar experiences, we help them find healing, hope, and the understanding that they are never alone.

Goals

1. 1.Advance HU2H’s advocacy by expanding access to our Hope and Healing Retreats, ensuring more veterans and first responders struggling with TBI, PTSD, and suicidal ideation receive life-saving support, connection, and education that drives long-term suicide prevention.
2. 2.Increase the number of Hope and Healing Retreats hosted each year to expand our capacity and ensure more veterans and first responders receive the life-changing support, connection, and healing offered through our programs.
3. 3.Strengthen HU2H’s organizational capacity by expanding financial resources and enhancing management infrastructure. This includes increasing sustainable funding, improving operational systems, and developing leadership capabilities to support long-term growth and the effective delivery of our mission.
