Vision

We aim to create a place where families thrive, and children grow up with stable, nurturing role models who guide them toward successful futures.

Goals

1. 1.Increase our board of directors by at least two members. Provide new and current board members with relevant training. We believe that we are poised for growth and desire to have solid, trained leadership in place prior to embarking on capital projects, large programmatic changes, or hiring.
2. 2.Hire a part-time program manager in charge of onboarding new trainees, shepherding them through the program, identifying trainee priorities, connecting with relevant resources, exploring goal work, and managing trainee-facing volunteers. This will increase the continuity of care of trainees, program quality, and effectiveness.
3. 3.Enhance volunteer communication, appreciation, and training. As volunteers are able to communicate better with one another and receive more training in their area, as well as trauma-informed care training, we will be able to better track trainee progress, reduce strain on staff to communicate, and retain valuable volunteers.
