Vision

We envision a future where young adults who have experienced trauma have equitable access to the tools, support, and transformative experiences needed to heal, grow, and build stable, independent lives. Travel Through Trauma aims to become a leading model for holistic trauma recovery, expanding access to our program across the United States while developing partnerships that support long-term healing and empowerment for underserved communities. By 2030, we aim to empower 10,000 underprivileged young adults from backgrounds of generational poverty and trauma across the United States, expand internationally with programs in 10 countries, and become a globally recognized leader in holistic trauma recovery and empowerment.

Goals

1. 1.Travel Through Trauma is refining and strengthening its core four-month trauma recovery program. The program integrates therapy, coaching, life skills development, and a solo international travel experience designed to help participants build emotional resilience, independence, and long-term personal stability.
2. 2.We are strengthening organizational infrastructure by expanding partnerships, improving program systems, and developing sustainable fundraising strategies. These efforts will support program delivery, maintain trauma-informed standards, and ensure long-term financial stability as the organization grows.
3. 3.Travel Through Trauma plans to gradually increase the number of young adults served each year while maintaining program quality and consistent outcomes. Expansion will focus on strengthening referral partnerships, increasing access for underserved communities, and scaling the program model responsibly.
