California Science and Engineering Fair Foundation

    Mission

The Foundation plans, funds, operates, and promotes the California Science and Engineering Fair, an annual event in which the best science and engineering students in grades 6-12 throughout the entire State of California are brought together to be recognized and honored, and to form communities with each other. The Foundation aspires to encourage all eligible students, regardless of socioeconomic status or geographic location, to develop their own scientific and engineering investigations and to participate in local science fairs leading to the California Science and Engineering Fair and beyond. The Foundation also aspires to increase communication and cooperation within the broader science fair community, both within and outside of California, on issues of concern to all science fairs such as expanding student participation and enhancing the student experience during that participation.
