Mission

Our mission is to champion equitable, innovative, and collaborative solutions to Oregon's environmental challenges for today and future generations. OEC seeds active hope, curates defiant optimism, and nourishes a thriving advocacy ecosystem that cultivates new capacity and connectedness among community-based organizations to secure upstream policy change on climate, water, toxic pollution and other environmental issues. We’re motivated by a strong sense of compassion for people and planet, for justice, and the knowledge that we are all interconnected. By collaborating with dozens of other organizations, we achieve far more than we can alone. Working together has shown that we can change the future. And we feel a sense of shared joy when that happens!
